TRADITIONAL ESTANCIAS.Gain insight into the traditional Patagonian way of life by staying at a local ranch (estancia), where you can experience rural activities and learn about the region's history.

HOTEL WITH A VIEW. Incredible location and stunning view. The hotel has its own private reserve where you can get in touch with nature as it was centuries ago. Outdoor swimming pool is beautiful even if crowded. Food is fine, only the bread was nothing special (but is quite common in Argentina).

CAMPING TRANQUILO. Feel the peace of the forest and the mountains. The hospitality of the owners of the camp site is priceless, they prepare delicious sopaipillas! Everything is clean with respect for nature and the toilets in excellent condition.

SCENOGRAPHIC HIKE. Beautiful walk on the glacier, easy and accessible for everyone. The landscape is stunning. As a reward, the tour ends with a glass of whisky with ice from the glacier and some chocolate.

MUST-SEE PHENOMENON. Very spectacular hike, impressive to stand in front of this ice mountain and admire it from all angles. Also a big chunk broke off and fell onto the lake... crazy the sound it makes! A must see once in a lifetime!

SAILING AMONG ICEBERGS. The Upsala Glacier is the largest but does not have such a beautiful front as it is very flat. Its peculiarity is the countless icebergs that break off and sailing between them is a unique experience. The catamarans cannot get too close to the glacier itself to avoid large breakouts.

END OF THE WORLD. Mesmerized by the ethereal dance of colors, time stood still... Aurora Australis is a nature's masterpiece, witnessed from the southern edge of the world, will forever be a cherished memory.

THE PENGUIN ISLAND. One hour on the island surrounded by literally thousands of tiny penguins! The bus ride wasn't that interesting but walking close to the penguins makes it worthwhile. It is like being on another planet.

THE IDEAL MOUNTAIN. A magical place to escape everyday reality and regain the contact with nature that we have lost. A long route that requires physical preparation, but when you reach the top the breathtaking view wins over fatigue.
